I got a pair of 900b for 35 dollars. They work and sound good. I know they have mixed reviews but my ears like them and they are my first pair of three way speakers.
I need help with the internal insulation. I dismantled them to paint and detoxit.
I noticed that the insulation was cheep (almost like cotton from a cheap pillow) and there was very little internal insulation. See the pictures.
She I just use the insulation again or would it better to use something more hardy and a a little more then the small quantity that came standard.
If you suggest something else could i use some sort of insulation from Home Depot or Lowe's and what kind.
Also how thick should I use and should I mount it to the cabinet or drop it in like was done originally?
If not what do you recommend. Thanks for the advice.
