I’m bidding on some khorns to put in my new workshop/dudecave space. I just realized that the window placement may interfere with speaker performance in the only corners where the speakers could fit. The windows are set 46 1/4” high and 26 1/4” from the corner, and the dimensions I’m getting on the khorns are approximately 52”(high)x31.25”(wide)x28.5”(deep). By my rudimentary estimation, this means their would be a small (3”x6”) overlap between the windows and the speakers. Would this overlap make a noticeable (and by that I don’t mean subtle audiophile distinction) in performance? The windows are high quality and set securely enough that I’m not too concerned about rattle, but I do know that these speakers are capable of some amazing things given the proper placement, and that they might not be worth the investment if a pair of more moderately priced Cornwalls will avoid the window concern altogether. I’ve included a pic of one of the corners to give y’all a better idea of what’s going on. Thanks a bunch!
