This problem happens anytime I click on one of my uploaded images. It does not happen on images from the web. Some members have provided only cursory explanations.

And what's with the absolute and very loud silence from the webmasters here on this issue? This is unusual from AK , and frustrating for us.

I clicked on several of your uploaded images without any bad effect. Can you give me an example of a thread containing such an image? What browser and OS are you using?

We have one webmaster, Wardsweb. No less frustrating for me.

BTW, most of these discussions are taking place one forum up, in AK New Format.
 
I get the request to log in at certain times. If I'm on say Flea•Bay and then come back to AK it will request a first log in of the (day) say.

Then if I go to another site, then come back again, I'll get the "you must log in" note, at the log in page -again.

For me it is only if I got to another site or browser tab, then come back.

I'm using an Android Chromium based browser (not Chrome proper) on an ASUS Android tablet or my Google Pixel 2 XL phone. Same "issue" on both.

I am of no help to you, as I only go to AK on my Windows PC. Phone/tablet use is outside my experience. It will fall to others to assist you. Sorry.
 
It seems to be an unresolved issue with the server configuration. There are two URLs floating around--www.ak.org and ak.org. Your browser (or app) cookies consider both to be separate logins. That happens when I follow links posted here. I login as www.ak.org, but somehow, links posted in the forum are ak.org and I get a version of the forum that is logged out.

Simple change to fix it, but I don't have the abilities. In essence, all traffic should be directed to one or the other. That would solve it.
 
FTR, "ak" being commonly-used shorthand for audiokarma, it might be possible that Wildcat, in discussing the link for audiokarma, used this shorthand notation.

I'm pretty sure the point is regarding "www.audiokarma.org" vs "audiokarma.org".
After all, as you say, the literal reading takes one to a different site.
 
Did I get "Kicked Out" of the General Off-topic folder? I can't even "Like" a post because of an error. I can still "Like" in the general discussions folder though.
 
You were probably trying to "Like" the post when it was being removed. In that case you would get an error because it was no longer there.
