Found some KLH 17s for free. They worked great until one tweeter went dead.
4 Ohms but 0 sound. I had nothing to loose so I peeled it open...
Sure enough, the voice coil was detached, lying inside the bottom of the magnet. (But the tweeter cone was destroyed, so there's no fixing - - besides, there was NO way I was going to shim the coil to reattach anyway!)
Anyone one want to
help direct me to an available
KLH 6,17... tweeter ???
