I'm looking or opinions on these two speakers, I have owned or do own other Epicure (100, 200) and KLH (model 6, 17) speakers and I enjoy them all. It is my understanding that both these models are different sounding from the other speakers in their respective lines - the KLH being a ported design and the Epicure 180's apparently having a different sound than their norm. I listen to a little of everything, mainly classic rock or alternative, the speakers would be used with a Marantz 2270 or Pioneer 838 for mellow listening at a modest level in a 12' x 15' office. I have big JBL's and Altecs to get loud and party, lol. I'm just looking for thoughts on how they compare, which is "better" in your opinions? Not looking for value, but both are available to me for the same reasonable price, but in opposite directions. What way should I go? Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas.
