I bought a pair of KLH Four that had no tweeter response, so I tore off the grilles (and saved them for smaller speakers like my AR 4x) and found out, after carefully removing the lacquer over the solder blobs, that the tweeters tested good.
I knew that the caps were no good, as is quite often discovered. I then removed the rear plaque and carefully sawed around the crossover, which was potted in a peanut brittle-like rosin compound.
It will take a while to get to the crossover, and I hope I can do it without damaging it. Just in case I do, I was wondering: does ANYBODY had a schematic for the model for crossover network?!
Is there any diagram for this 16 ohm, dual tweeter, dual switch model?
