I recently restored a set of KLH 6 speakers. New caps and veneer all around. Can someone please guide me on the proper connection to the terminal plate that features a ground post terminal and a dual positve terminals with a removable slip connector joining the two positives. Says “remove slip connection to disconnect high frequency section. Thank you.

It was an early implementation which would allow bi-amping or running separate tweeters by disconnecting in built in tweeter. I don’t know anyone that runs them without the jumper. I had a set that came without the jumper and it was missing some nuts though. Luckily I found replacements on flea bay.
