Has anyone heard of these? Just came across a pair. I can't seem to find any information online. Im new to the vintage speaker world. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Per the Audio Magazine Annual Equipment Directory of October 1978, these were a 2-way sealed system with 10" woofer and dome tweeter. MSRP was $135 each. A google search for klh cl-2 brought me back to several AK threads, so you might want to try again. This thread is probably the most useful.

Thank you @swechsler I had found that thread too. Was just wondering if 5 years later, anyone has listened to them, and could vouch for the sound. Appreciate the link to the specs.

The CL3 and CL4 are larger speakers in the same series, so any reviews of those should give you a pretty good idea of what they'll sound like, although assume the CL2s would probably have less bass. You didn't mention a price, but if they're cheap I'd probably give them a try. KLH was still making good speakers back then.
I have both a set of CL3 (modified), and CL4 (modified). I use the CL4 regularly. The CL4 sound absolutely fantastic. I recently built a shelf for them in my garage and I power them with a Denon AVR-1500 receiver and Bluesound Node2i. They are solidly built. I'll eventually get around to reveneering them and giving them the attention they deserve, but for now they are some of the best "garage speakers" I've had.
People downplay the KLH ResearchX line, but they are a great value.
