Just joined and read some very old posts about KLH Model 100 speakers . One person wanted info on them and a second poster suggested they were garbage . It was said
that the speakers were made by a Japanese ccompany named Korcea I believe in Westwood, Massachusetts . I believe the speakers were actually by Electro audio Dynamics before KLH
was sold to the Japanese company by EAD . They were made in Westwood, Massachusetts in 1977 or 1978 . I bought a pair of these speakers either in late 1977 or early 1978 . I still have them set
up and they are still great little speakers as far as I'm concerned and though I'm no true audiophile , I've listened to all kinds of speakers and they are as good as any bookshelf speakers
I've heard . They have the walnut wood vaneer cabinets with 8" woofers and resemble the new KLH Model 3 in appearance and also the older KLH model 24 . They have the cream linen covers
that were common to many KLH speakers of the 60s and 70s . It is my understanding that EAd sold KLH in and around 1980 to Korcera from what i have read . If you come across these model
speakers . Give them a listen . I certainly believe they are worth having . Garbage ? I don't think so .
