KLH Model 20 Woofers and Crossoveers

I am picking up a pair of KLH Model Twenty Speakers, today. I am going to transfer the Drivers and Crossovers from a ratty pair of Model 17's to these really nice cabs. Is there a market for the Model 20 Crossovers or the 4-ohm Woofers? Are they worth anything to sell? If so, what would be a good price for them?

No one wants the woofers. I had a set and it took forever to sell. You can get around 20 plus shipping for the pair on eBay.

There's no real crossover, just a terminal plate with a cap and terminals, as far as I know. The terminals, if they have the standard thumb nut, are worth $10-20/set list likely.

If the 20 is like the 17, the tweeter has a 3-way switch to adjust treble (basically puts some capacitors in or out of parallel with resistors to adjust treble level) but I believe the woofer runs open.

I don't know of the woofers would be worth much; they are pretty common and used in other KLH designs.
 
So, these things in the back are not really crossovers? I did get those KLH Model Twenty's. Pretty similar to the KLH Model Seventeen's. And, they had a date stamped inside: February 28, 1966! Pretty cool, I would say. The cabinets are really nice. Just one veneer repair and they will be pretty again. The woofers do not appear to ever have been sealed. Just pretty yellow cloth. Didn't seem to have any pressure holding capability at all. I bet they didn't sound very good, even when new. At least, not very much bass.

Actually, the model Twenty is a very nice sounding speaker. If they don't sound good now, they likely need a capacitor refresh, switch cleaning, surround doping, and sealing to the cabinets. I've had a pair of them for years now, and they sound almost exactly like my Seventeens. I believe they were made to match the stereo system KLH built back in the day. While they don't have the bass of the Five, Six, or Twenty Three, it's adequate unless you're looking to shake your house. Under-appreciated, in my opinion. The pair I have are driven by a compact Onkyo stereo that was designed for use with 4 ohm speakers.
