Just got this today. I cannot believe the big sound coming out of this little table top radio. I'm starting to think Henry Kloss was a genius. Really like to get extra speaker that attaches someday. Enjoy the attached pic :music:

I've got one that I bought from our Grumpy back in October. I play mine morning to night every day!

I'm high bidder on one on ebay. I hope I get it! Is that one stereo with a remote speaker?

This is speaker radio in one. I believe you can find the stand alone speaker as well. My wife thought I was using my main system with JBL's.

Does anyone know how this stacks against the Model 8?

My wife wants a table radio for the kitchen.

I've been in love with the Model Twenty-One since the late 60's when I first saw / heard one. They have a beautiful, understated elegance both inside and out. It's hard to believe the great performance of this table radio when you look at the simple circuitry that it incorporates.

Mr. Kloss knew how to get a lot of performance for the dollar in anything he designed. This is one of the best table radios ever made and superb sounding and well made. The Tivoli is it's modern descendant.

Wow..... beautiful radio. I picked up a Tivoli Model Three from Goodwill recently for $7.99 and have been doing a bit of research on it. I'm learning to appreciate Mr. Kloss.

I found one at the dump years ago, sans the small knobs - P/S cap needs to be replaced... gotta get around to that some day.

Picked one up some time back. Cleaned it up. Did the restore finish stuff. Missing knob. Changed out for matching set. Pulgged it in, found a station, turned it up. GF heard it. Staked her claim. moved it right to spot in kitchen. :D Nice little unit.

The one I picked up had a small pillow type bag inside.

If you find one with hum, you can usually get them for cheap and they are very easy to work on. A great project radio for someone relatively new to recapping.

OK now I want one for MY kitchen! Too bad my favorite station doesn't pick up very well where I live though. :(

Yep, they all do - that's the acoustic insulation. The box is basically a sealed speaker cabinet with insulation inside. They do sound great!

When I saw that pillow I realized the Model Twenty-One was in a league of it's own and a keeper.

Sorry to revive an old thread but I just scored one of these with the extension speaker on Goodwill's website. Anticipating issues, is there anyone near Chicago you could recommend to bring these up to spec? Thanks!
