KLH Model 23's manufacture dates? Henry Kloss?

Hey gents (ladies?).

So again my Google skills really seem to be really lacking lately. ..

For the life me I can't find the date range the KLH Model 23 was made. Anyone have a clue? Even better if you can point me to where you found it...sheesh. :)

I'm lined up to pick up a pair of these in fine condition after work today. :)

Thanks

Looks from this list to be 1968 to 1972. Fantastic speakers.

That is like the holy grail of KLH speaker info! Thank you! :)

According to ol' Wikipedia looks like Mr. Kloss skedaddled around 67 (one year prior to the release of the model 23). But looks like at least some of his original design and engineering team were around until 79ish. So, at least the model 23 was probably still a very "Klossy" speaker.

I think Henry Kloss' influence lasted well after he was gone from KLH. Lots of members here have many sets of his designs, myself included (Models Five, Seventeen, Twenty, Twenty Four, Thirty-Two, and a Model 25 Console). I'm a huge fan of these speakers, they're some of the more natural sounding around, even compared to today's stuff (IMHO).
