KLH Model 6 Woofer Verification

Could use some help trying to determine if my Model 6 KLH woofers have the correct surrounds and are the correct speakers. The basket's have no identifying marks.

I have heard the 6 only has cloth surrounds. I have only seen 6's with rubber surrounds.
The speakers are screwed not epoxied in.

The woofers in my Model Six look just like your pics. The Model Six was manufactured for many years, as was several other speakers of similar vintage. It is common to see variations over such a long product life. A Google image search will show the several variations.

The cloth surrounds should be refreshed with the proper compound. RoyC and vintage-ar on ebay sell the proper stuff to dope the surrounds. Do not use anything else or you risk irreparably changing the sound of those glorious woofers.

Your woofers appear to be original I'd be more curious as to what's going on with the tweeter as that does not look original.

The OP's tweeter looks similar to mine. Mine looks to be slightly rotated the same way even. I am confident that my speakers have original components.

Tweeters might be from 5 s.
Check Jkent on CSP or any of the mentioned guys.
Huge ommunity just fire up a flare. You'll get a million replies.
Permatex might be acceptable, has to be super light. Again, check. Get the right stuff from classic AR guy on eBay. Roy C also, it is his formula I believe.

Here's the way to accurately identify the tweeter.

Permatex on a woofer surround will seriously degrade bass response
and might permanently ruin it.
