I suppose I should have checked both speakers before starting a restoration....
Crossovers: done. Thumb screws replaced with 5-way binding posts, done. Grill cloth, done, Badges, done...
But now I am into it with both feet, I find I am in need of a tweeter.
One on Flea-Bay, ridiculously high priced. Half the price of one refurbed speaker.
From what I've found, Models 6, 17, 20, 30 & 33 all use the same HF driver.
Tens of thousands of these speakers where made over a decade.
You would think it would be easy to find an old tweeter. Nope.
I found a guy on this site that rebuilt all my AR-3 drivers, at a very reasonable price.
Is there someone who rebuilds KLH drivers?
