Hi All,
After hearing so much about them, I finally scored my first KLH FM tuner at a flea market. The good news is that it works and suffers from relatively few cosmetic blemishes.
However, someone tried to superglue the volume knob (after losing the little spring-clip on the knob, no doubt) to the post. The knob at some point broke off, leaving some plastic chips and glue residue behind.
Judging by the amount of residue on the post, I may be better off replacing the pot all together. Beyond that, I need to score a proper replacement knob. Does anyone here have a line on these knobs? As for the potentiometer, is this a replaceable item off the shelf from my local electronics supply house or something "special" that I need to hunt down?
