KLH six position

I acquired a larger tv and want to know if I can put my KLH six horizontal instead of vertical? Right now I have them sitting on top of my Dynaco a50 which I switch between which ones to listen to. I was also going to put the Dynacos mounted directly on the wall. Would this work musically?

How does 23 compare to six? I have a pair of those.
Also have a pair of KLH 23s. The bass is much better and punchier than the 6. Overall a better balanced classic KLH sound. My 6s look much better however! But if I had to choose to listen to the 6 vs the 23, hands down the 23.

I actually have a pic where I was comparing the 6 vs 23. Speakers were driven by a Kenwood KR 4070 receiver (40 watts) with input from a Realistic Lab 440 turntable. Both speakers sounded fantastic. But the 23 is just better overall IMHO.

I have the Model Twenty-Three's. I have had the Model Six. I prefer the Twenty-Three for several reasons. To my ears, the sound is a little better. But the difference is pretty miniscule. The other thing is the aesthetics. The Twenty-Three is just a prettier speaker.

Horizontal is fine as already noted. Mine are setup horizontal, and many were as they were called “book shelf” speakers. Experiment though with the tweeters inside and then outside positions.

Try to keep the tweeter at the same elevation off the floor. You may also have to point the speakers more directly at you to keep a very similar sound to what you had in the vertical position.
