Klipsch Center Channel conundrum

I currently have a KSC-1 but my KB3s kind of run over them unless I put my settings "half" of the center(10 on the KSC 1 and 5 on the KB3s)I switched my KB3s with my KG2s and same thing...there is a KV 3 center for 100.00 I can get...would this make a difference.Want to stay with Klipsch and don't want to spend more than 200.00.
