Klipsch Chorus ii binding post replacement

kb0311

New Member
Hi guys, I recently acquired a pair of Klipsch Chorus ii speakers, but one of the speaker has both of the speaker connecting post broken.

Klipsch didn't have a replacement part, given these are older speakers.

Does anyone have any replacement part suggestions? I saw some parts on ebay, amazon, and partsexpress but read that some did not fit correctly.

Any recommendations on replacements that are close to the original?

I appreciate any help.

How much do you want to spend? There are so many options. Would suggest not getting anything magnetic. "good" ones will setup you back $50+
Might also want to take a look at the connections on the other side, see if they are soldered on, or have a push on connector. Would suggest getting what connects on the inside.

Honestly, I am not concerned about the cost. Main focus is to fix it right.

What would you recommend?

Can you post a photo of the binding post removed and of the plate mounting hole?

I like Cardas binding post, but there are so many from $40-800+. Usually pick solid brass.
Measure what is in there, so you get the right depth. You can usually go longer, but obviously, shorter will not work.

Thank you. I didn't see one with such detailed measurement as this one when I was looking online.
