Klipsch Chorus II

Hi,

I lucked into a pair of Chorus IIs, an Adcom GFA-545 II & GTP 500 II. The setup sounds pretty darn good, though, I’ve never had horns in my house before and haven’t had somewhat serious gear in some time.

These are large speakers. I don’t think I have the room to pull them away from the walls to optimize their sound.

Would replacing the Klipsch with smaller speakers, like the KEF LS50s or SVS Ultras, be mistake?

I dont really look at sitautions like this as right/wrong -or- success/mistake. I just look at it as choices & experiences.

That is you make a choice (based on the given criteria) and as a result you either:
A. learn something by going thru the experience of making some sorta change(s)...
-or-
B. Maintain the current status quo and always wonder " what if " ???

Either can be right,,,either can be wrong...

If the Klipsch are a "square peg in a round hole" in your current listening environement...
Then odds are you would be better off with something better suited for the given situation.

But sometimes the final answer is only clearly obvious via hindsight...

Clear as mud,right ?
