Klipsch Chorus in da house!

Ever since I got my Klipsch Cornwalls a few months ago, I was hooked. I had Polk Audio RS-1000's and RS-2000's, Mac HT-1's and Vandersteen 2 CI's. Moved the Macs and Vandersteens to the living room- the Polks were very nice, but they're really Home Theater speakers.
But when I got the Klipsch Cornwalls- oh my- I just had to have another set. But they were so hard to find! Saw some Klipsch K-horns for $400 locally, but both woofers and one tweeter blown. Tonight I checked Craigslist again- and there were a pair of Klipsch Chorus for $350. I jumped on it- had to drive quite a ways to the south valley, but I got 'em. The seller had them hooked up and they sounded great- loaded them up and now they're here at home matched to the Cornwalls. Some cosmetic issues (see pics) but otherwise perfect! :thmbsp:Christmas early for me- but I doubt that I'll ever buy another set for my main system. Why would I? The sound is glorious!
I still have to buy some new cross-overs from Bob Crites- next couple of months, after Tax time- and then I will be set!
Merry Christmas, my brothers- a bit early, but still heartfelt. I hope you score as well this holiday season!

"...matched to the Cornwalls..."

What do you mean? Do you listen to both at the same time?

Nice score! My friend Steve-H (also an AKer) also got a pair of these quite recently. Looks like the happy love child of a Forte and a Cornwall!

Yep- Cornwalls and Chorus's for front and rear....:music:

Congrats on the score. You will love them, and they will make a great compliment to your Corns.

With respect to the prior question, just keep in mind that some people prefer to only listen to two speakers at a time - and only two speakers.:nono:

Glad to hear that you will be running them with the Corns. I run a shadowed rear two-channel for my rear modded Belles, and they act as the natural compliment to my Khorns up front. And at times, I also run 7.1 or at other times, only two-channel. Its all a matter of taste.

Again, congrats.

I like running quad with one Chorus II in each corner of the room, running with two dedicated 2-channel amps. It's kind of a 3D sorround sound effect, but it really rocks out to the max.

I've had my Chorus speakers since 1987 when I bought them brand-new. In general, I've been pretty happy with them. I've found them to be a little weak in the bass unless they are placed in corners, something I've not always been able to do, depending upon my living arrangements.

Good luck with yours!
