So, today I became the proud owner of two pairs of Klipsch Cornwall's that I got a fantastic deal on. These are my first pairs of vintage Klipsch's, and I'm excited. Initially, I thought I had a pair of CW II's and a pair of CW I's because of the different bottom port types (one have 3 sections, and the other have 2). However, the drivers are not front loaded, so I believe I have two CW I's, just different years.
I will post more pictures of the drivers and crossovers today or tomorrow.
The ones with 3 port sections, the newer ones I think, have replacement MCM 55-1310 woofers and the K77 tweeters are blown. It looks like I can buy replacement domes, any help with where to buy them and how to install the new ones would be greatly appreciated.
So the ones with 3 port sections have the following driver: K-77 tweeters, K-55-V mids, and MCM 55-1310 woofers. Any suggestions for a better replacement woofer, if needed, would be great.
I'm taking apart one of the other ones to identify the drivers, I will post them soon.
