My musicals taste is very wide . But I wanted to hear some John Coltrane first because of horns . The IV more than willing ,played for me a private show that was seductive in sound reproduction . Incredible. Apple lossless as I have no Coltrane on vinyl.

Some don’t like the heresy . Me? I thought they sounded great from the 1s up to the 3s. The the 4s I almost bought after saving for a few years. The Cornwall purchase made more sense having the money to do it . Would I have paid over $7000 with taxes ? Probably not ever honestly . I was back and forth about purchasing used . But man am I glad I did . Back to the marantz 2226 with heresy . I bet the combo sounds nice as I’ve run my 2230 with heresy also .
