Klipsch Forte I appreciation

So, to revisit my original topic...
I've played a lot of music through the Forte's the past several months, not all of it sounded great. In fact, a lot of it sounded pretty poorly, muddy bass, washed out highs, etc. I've read a ton about how the Forte's play well with lower power (tubes get mentioned all the time), so I first experimented with switching out my SX-950 with my 737, and wow, what a difference. The 737 has that tubey goodness too it, that warmth and forgiving sound that alone was a marked improvement. Next I installed a set of Mr. Crites' tweeter diaphram replacements, and now it is on another level entirely. They added that little extra something that I didn't realize was even missing. Best-speakers-ever! As least in my meager lineup.
