Klipsch Heresy

Seems a little high. $350 to $450 is more what I have seen if in excellent condition. But, if you can't live without them ........

Both Is and IIs have a near set resale price of $450 regardless of finish provided in very good condition. For some reason the Heresy seems to have a very narrow average resale price range. At $550, you're so close to a set of Cornwalls they are over priced. These are Is but in a finished cabinet rather than the most common unfinished cabinet.

I figure I'd offer up to $400 only with new networks installed (or ones that are few years old). You know the caps drifted quite a bit... Other than that, I dunno, the pics are really weak so I can't tell what shape the cabs are in. $350 may get 'em.

I really enjoy my Heresy IIs right now (and have since I obtained them) but may upgrade to Cornies or La Scalas in a few years when I 'settle down'. Of course that means the wife will get something of similar value (it's only fair). Getting back to my original thought, if you can find Cornies for around $550/$600, I'd say go for that (but I know you didn't ask about other speakers).

Best of luck if it's what you really want.

I guess it would also depend on if you were buying Heresy's on eBay and having to have them shipped to you. If these are local, then it might be ok. But I'd still have to low ball a little. I mean, think about it....the seller is going high to allow for some bartering. If someone pays the high price without asking, the seller made out good. In their mind, I'm sure they have a price they'd "settle" for. Just my $.02.
