Klipsch: Heritage and Reference

I am a fan of Klipsch speakers and have several pair as well as having heard several more...In the big room, I am lucky enough to have a pair of Klipschorns powered by Craig NOSValves Tube VRDs and a JuicyMusicAudio BlueBerry MkI...on a Home Theater System I am using Heresy Academy Heresy and KSF-S5 surrounds powered by Outlaw Audio amp, pre and sub...another system using an EICO HF-81 and Heresys...I like the so called Heritage sound from Klipsch...
Last week I picked up a pair of Reference series (several years old) RB-5s...very nice speakers...powered right now by McIntosh MA6200 Integrated SS amp...
I have been a/b'ing them for a few hours and I must say the smaller (about a third the size of Heresys) have excellent sound FOR THEIR SIZE...they are capable of some booming bass...something many don't think the Heresy is capable of...I don't find the Heresys particularly bass shy but I think I know what they are talking about...anyway...I guess I am just a Heritage kinda guy but must admit, these Reference series speakers are pretty nice...anyone else here have experience with these or other Klipsch speakers???

I have a pair of Khorns and a pair of Heresies. I had a chance to build speakers using the tractrix horn from the RF7. I must say that I love the midrange sound from the RF7 horns - more lifelike than the Khorns. That tractrix contour does seem to make a big difference in taking some of the beaming out of the midrange. Not that I'd trade my Khorns, but I sure wouldn't mind having a pair of RF7's somewhere else in the house......

I have the RF 3 II's and like them very much. Dual 8" woofers and Tractrix horn, ported. Nowhere near as shrill/fatiguing as some say horns can be at high volumes. Fantastic with tubes. An all around great performer. In the bass department they will keep pace with most subwoofers I have tried. I actually turn the KSW 12 off when listening to 2 channel. I just don't need it.
