Klipsch KLF-30

What is a good price on a pair of black KLF-30s in good shape? Are they too big for a 15 X 19 room with an 8' ceiling? They would have to be on the long wall about 7' apart from center to center. I had a pair of Chorus I and thought they were too fatiguing. Is it likely that these will do the same to me?

I usually think of Ebay prices as being too high but there's a pair on there right now for $902.50.

My opinion is that if you didn't like the Chorus you won't like the KLFs. You mentioned the Chorus as being fatiguing. Have you had speakers you enjoy listening to in that room or just the Chorus?

How long ago? If it has been a while you might not hear as high now,
so maybe, maybe not. I would tend to agree with @dietz31684 to some degree,
horns were fatiguing to me early on, but less so now, at low to mid volume,
and with certain equipment.

My all-time favorite speakers were a pair of Altec 820s. I have a pair of KG 5.5s right now that aren't bad but they're missing some detail. I also have a pair of Infinity OVTR-2 speakers that don't sound bad in the room.

It's probably been at least six years and maybe more since I sold the Chorus I speakers. I've had a couple pairs of horn speakers that really aren't fatiguing. The ones mention in my last post. I have a pair of JBL 4312s that I also think are fatiguing so it's not just the horns. It's sounding like the KLF-30s might not be for me.

To my ears the KLF 30 has a tilt up compared to the Chorus. A lot more bass though. Some EQ around 3-4000hz might work.

I'm not sure what you mean by tilt up. Could you explain a little more? The bass on my Chorus depended a lot on where I placed them.

Another word could be 'brighter'. more energy in the upper midrange. But, with better bass response than anything the chorus can do no matter where you place them. That might equalize the brightness somewhat.
