Klipsch La Scala

Howdy everyone, hope all is well. Anyways, on the local CL, someone posted a single Klipsch La Scala loudspeaker in excellent condition for about $500. Is that a steal? Also, would a single LA Scala suffice, or should I wait until I can get a set?

If you have a mono system a single speaker will suffice. Singles are fairly hard to find (thus the low price), you might be looking for a long time for a mate, they were also in several finishes and versions which makes it more difficult.

Id say that's a great deal, common to see them for 800.00 to 1200.00.

wait for a set. a single mono speaker is a white elephant, and will be hard to find an exact match for, and even if you find another one it will put off buyers that you don't have a matched set.

parts alone are worth 500+ but i agree its a hard sell at that price for a single. Seeing that pic id offer 375.00 and be ready to walk if seller balks...

You may want to ask why he only has a single? Perhaps the mate is there but non working?
