Help!!
I have a Fluance RT81, with internal preamp, and whether I use the speaker preamp or the turntable preamp there is a hum that I cannot get rid of! The higher the volume the louder it gets. Yes ground wire is connected, gets louder if it isn't. If the speaker preamp is being used it is slightly louder than if I use the turntable preamp. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. There is only a hum when using the turntable. Am also thinking about getting a vintage receiver in the hopes that it might resolve the issue and take my listening experience up a bit. Thoughts?
