I have some KT88's to test. I have a Sencore TC162 tester that I haven't used in 25 years. I recently had a Knight KG-600 tester given to me that's in pretty good condition. I could not specifically find the KT88 in the roll chart. There is a KT8.

Thus far I haven't figured out how to set switches 1-10 to get the right filament voltage. Otherwise I'm not to certain what those switches do. looking at the schematic it appears they set the filament voltage.

Suggestions?

I've got a Knight KG-600B. It's a basic emission tester and works very nice for what it is. I had to go through it and replace several out of spec resistors and as I remember there was a single cap that I also replaced. It's been able to test all the tubes that I have thrown at it so far. It's important to have a current chart for it and mine came with extra books that included the original assembly manual and some addendum tube xref. Good luck.
