Knob cross-reference?

I have 2 receivers that need knobs, and I am having trouble finding them. I am hoping that maybe the same knobs are used on other models, so that I can broaden my search.

The first is the flat selector switch for a Yamaha R-300. Is it the same knob as on the CR-x00, CR-x20, or CR-x40 models? If not, would the knob off one of those fit & work ok?

The second is a Pioneer SX-770 (the black face one). The small balance knob & large volume knob are both missing the decorative center insert. Do any other models use the same knobs?

I tried to find replacement knobs on ebay, and only found few guys in China that sells generic knobs. Still haven't tried to order anything, as I am not sure will it fit or no.
Trying to find volume knobs for Yamaha AX-400 amplifier, and Denon PMA-860. Both models are great, but lack of knobs makes them look sad :(.
 
For Pioneer go to parts.pioneerelectronics.com
First enter the model number to find parts numbers for the knobs, then enter each knob part number to get a list of models that use the same knob (if any).
 
Thanks for the help on the Pioneer, but unfortunately the SX-770 does not show up in their database. I tried a couple other vintage numbers & they did show up so not sure why the 770 doesn't. I tried putting the part numbers from the service manual in but that did not work either.
 
The sx-440 is from the same time frame and series.
