Knob for 8080db

Hi everyone,

Haven't got around to giving it a thorough test yet, but I picked up an 8080db this morning. My first big stereo Sansui. (Still own a QRX-9000 4 channel in need of electrical TLC.) Condition and 8.5/10. Lots of scratchiness in the controls. Typical stuff. Needs a good cleaning.

The one major flaw is it's missing the small knob for "rec level" under the Dolby section. Was wondering if anyone had a parts unit with one to spare???

I'll report back when I get this thing really hooked up and tested. BTW, what's the watts per channel on that beast?

Hi Dave- the 8080DB is 85W. (the non db 8080 is 80W). I just wanted to point out to you, regarding that knob you need - you dont have to restricetyourself to getting one from another 8080DB- if there's a spare parts 9090DB you can use that too, or even a 7070- the mic level knob is the same.

Also, Fred, thanks for the info that the knob is interchangeable with the 7070 and 9090dbs.
