The White Album - The Beatles
The Black Album - Metallica(self titled)
The Brown Bomber - Led Zeppelin II

The cover also pictured the outline of a Zeppelin on a brown background, which gave the album its nickname "Brown Bomber".[3]

Well... there's "Led Zeppelin IV" which doesn't really have a name. It has some runes, but they don't spell ZOSO...

A curious case is the compilation album released by Apple shortly after the Beatles' demise. I've seen this album in various formats labeled The Beatles Again and also The Beatles Hey Jude.
 
I'm not 100% certain about the album but The Beatles movie "Help" was originally titled "Eight Arms To Hold You":yes:

The double live "Grateful Dead" is also known as "Skull and Roses" or "Skull F*ck" as the band wanted it named.
 
Nick Lowe's British-released "Jesus Of Cool" LP, had a name change to pacify the more religious American listening audience.

Also, I don't think Chicago II originally had the number as the first one was called Chicago Transit Authority.
 
ELO's first U.S. release for United Artists was supposed to be the self-titled "Electric Light Orchestra," as was the U.K. version on the Harvest label. But the U.S. version was released as "No Answer" due to a communications breakdown. A UA company rep had phoned ELO manager Don Arden in England to discuss the LP title, but the rep's secretary couldn't get through and simply wrote down the words "no answer" on the phone memo.
A similar mixup led to one of The Byrds' LPs being released as "Untitled."
 
Jackson Browne's eponymous first album is commonly referred to as "Saturate Before Using" because these words show up prominently on the cover but are not the LP title.
 
Could be wrong, but I think Santana III is actually just "Santana." To differentiate it from the debut, "III" is usually added on.

A much newer band, Weezer, often color codes their albums, omitting an album name. I've only really cared for the debut "Blue" album.
