Koss Pro/4AAA Replacement Pads

Ugh. i was hoping that they may still have some D shaped ones as I just found my Pro4AAAs and they are rock hard.
I wonder if the round ones can be shoehorned onto the D frames?

FWIW, I think it's pretty amazing that a smaller comp[any like Koss till had parts for 45 year old products in stock...

For some it's the parts business that sustains the business, so to speak. Koss may well be a smaller player now but in the protectionist-backed market of the 70's they sold lots of Pro series which kinda has a cult following so they still carry the parts even though they are likely Chinese-made now. Fortunately these days stuff from China can be of excellent quality despite low cost.

look on ebay, I bought the pads for my pro4aaa from one of the vendors they fit very well, don't
worry about the flat side you will never see it once you have them on.
They are made out of a leatherette material and feel very nice and fit well.

LMAO, especially back home in my hometown of Milwaukee where they are headquartered. I had a set and most of my friends did as they were Da Bomb in the 1970s.

Just got off the phone with Koss and they say they do have Pro 4AAA ear cushions in stock. 5$ a pair, includes shipping. We will see if they send me the right ones…

I tried and email Koss customer support through the contact page, but didn't even get an acknowlege email after one week : not much hope now...
I ordered some ebay pads for the Pro4 AAA titanium , and will try to adapt them (shape is round rather than D ) . Cost is low (13$) but that's more than original ones from Koss

So did you buy them and did they work?
Just got a pair of AAA's and they need new pads. I'll try Koss first, but I like having a plan B.

The replacement pads for the Pro4AAA are holding up well, I don't use them often, but you can see what they look like after two years or so.

Bought two pair a while back, and they haven't become stiff yet.

argh !
they told me they don't have any left, and won't have anymore

Phone seems to work better than email, but time difference isn't helping :I'll ask my daughter to give them a call

I've bought and received the round shaped ones from ebay, but had no time to try and fit them

@Oldskoolfan
you just called 1-800-USA-KOSS ?

thanks for the head up : she managed to reach the Koss customer support, and ordered 2 sets of pads.
I won't event try to fit the ebay ones, in hope she can get the delivery before she comes to our place in Europe

perfect timing : the pads arrived to her place before she left, and she brought them with her

they 're thinner thant the original gel ones, and made of foam, but that'll be the way to use the headset again

all done, much better now :bigok:

but I was glad she asked for 2 pairs : one of the newly fitted pad was much softer than the other, and making a "woosh" noise when pressed
a better look showed that I made a tiny cut when I removed the center part

I used one of the spare, taking care of no doing the same mistake, and 2nd attempt was right : comfort is back, and I can use my trusty Pro4AAA again:music:

I would think if you open the cut a little and work some silicone in, you could fix it. I've been wondering if anyone has tried the memory foam filled ones on evilbay. They claim they can be used on pro 4/aaa's.

Yes, I recon I can fix it, using some soft glue or silicone

the memory foam were my option until I got the real ones, not tried them
