Kr4140 needs new outputs

I have this rather cool looking KR4140 that needs 2 new outputs, 2sd155. I’ve tried to find them or and equivalent but no luck in TO-66 package. Have readwhere you can use a silicon transistor with mod to the center pin. Has anyone tried this and what trans did you use.

Just use a TO-220. It's meant to mount in a TO-66 socket.

I have a pile of MJE15030’s that should do the trick.
