Kraut's New Listening Space

I've got a Schiit Freya + coming in soon. Hoping it sounds sweet. Your gear look great, as always.

All very good upgrades and workmanship.

Thanks guys!
lokerola, I hope you will like your Freya +. I really enjoy the Freya S.

Snapped a couple quick cell phone pics of the 'fun' living room system as I was rocking out this morning. It's not for critical listening, more for jamming out on the weekends. The nearfield setup in the bedroom is a completely different animal.

Hey man I sniffed out that that coil you need and have some options.

Schiit Bifrost 2 is in the house and breaking in. Super thrilled with it so far, just excellent sound...
The Modi 3+ is relegated to the living room system, which really needed a DAC.

Also, been running the Freya S in buffer mode recently instead of active gain mode. Seems more natural sounding with my particular amp and setup. The active gain stage has more bass and treble and dynamics, almost like a loudness button, with my particular amp. The passive mode seems dull and lifeless with my setup.
The three modes of the Freya S are:
passive / buffer stage / active gain stage

That’s some killer Schitt! Schitt never gets old, haha. Hey thanks again for picking all that Schitt up for me, when I come up next week I’ll see if I like your Schitt better than the streamer I’m using.

Pioneer PL-41 is set up and with the arrival of the Tavish Classic phono stage I'm finally spinning records again in the listening room.
Started the break in of the phono stage today with some Sven Vath and Green Velvet, both of which I've seen live many years ago.
The cart that came on the PL-41 is a Sumiko Oyster (blue).
Going to swap in my favorite Shure M95ed soon, and might pick up a Sumiko Pearl down the road. I also still have the M97xe, but it has a broken suspension.
