KSC3503 transistor sub

Hey all,

I've been using the top 10 worst transistor thread as a guide for subs for a couple of years. I've recently noticed that the subs on that list are becoming obsolete. For example, I'm currently working on a Pioneer SA-9900. It's got a fair number of 2SC1451, which are supposed to be replaced by KSC3503. It now looks like those are obsolete too. Any suggestions for a replacement?

Thx
Matt

Profusion has KEC KTA1381/C3503

I'm getting prepared to work on an SX-737. I want to get the 2SC1451s (Q5, Q6) in the power amp out of there, but the generally recommended replacement KSC3503 is obsolete. One of our future AI overlords recommends using a Toshiba TTC004B,Q. The transistor substitutions thread here recommends KSC2690AY, but that same overlord says that this is not a good substitution in this specific case due to a significantly higher collector output capacitance than the original part. There is the KEC KTC3503, but it is not stocked by Mouser or DigiKey (trying to stay with one of these two for now). I also see the Affinity For Artifacts on ebay seems to still be offering the onsemi KSC3503.

What are you folks using these days to replace these 2SC1451s in your Pioneer power amp boards? Apologies if this has already been discussed elsewhere.
