I just picked up a Kenwood KW-44 on ebay. This will be my first piece of tube gear.
I haven't recieved it yet, however the seller states that the output tubes (6BM8s) are weak. I have done a little reading in this forum and it seems that equipment of this vintage needs to be recapped in addition to other work. What sort of things should I be looking for in terms of making this unit work properly? (keep in mind that I am a tube n00b)
