L&R M-80 Amps Ran Stereo

Could I run 2-Yamaha M-80's in stereo with a C-85 via the NORMAL pre-outs by connecting a "Y" to the C-85 (1-male RCA x 2 female RCA). The LEFT [NORMAL] PRE-OUT stereo signal is split and connected to both Left & Right MAIN-IN on 1 of the M-80's and the same connection is made for the RIGHT [NORMAL] PRE-OUT, thus keeping the 8 ohm 250W rating to drive 1 Klipschorn per M-80 amp?

Would this also increase the damping factor?

You could run one channel from each amp, or bridge them if they are bridge-able.

But if you are running Klipschorns, you don't need more than five watts, so why on earth would you want to?

The difference in stereo imaging & separation with a single amp ran stereo and a pair of amps is night and day. Granted, I have only tried a limited number components but a pair seem to always sound better.

With the 2 M-80's and the K Horns, your correct, normally there's no need to power the amps above 1.8W on the METER @ 8ohm, raise it to the 18W and it is very loud.

I'm not sure what the actual watt per channel is at 1.8W or 18W on the METER with the 2- M-80's but I read on a post that it was close to 660W each so I figure 3x what the METER is reading to be safe.
