Wiping out white van
Hi all. First post here but not on audiokarma. I have a Lafayette amp that I am thinking of restoring but I have no info on this amp. Its a 550 (on the front) on the back its says 10-550. Im assuming its 50 watts/ch. it seems to operate fine but some of the caps are showing oil (paper wrapped) Any info would be great! Thx in advance.

Hi, I think I have the complete construction manual for that unit. And it's a very good one, IIRC! 6550/KT-88 output tubes?
 
The amp uses 2 7027a's , 2- 6cL6,and 1- 6br8a per side. Tubino srry I said the 6243 I guess thats just the "base" num?
