Hey All,

I sold this Lafayette LR-200 on eBay and the guys sent it back because it was damaged in shipping. (see pic). The selector switch has snapped off and the shaft and knob are both missing. Anyone know where I can find one or both? It was in really great condition so I would hate to scrap it.

Yeah, I was afraid of that. I was also thinking about drilling and taping then adding an extension shaft. A new knob wouldn't be an exact match but that's probably okay.

Tough call. Drilling accurately enough is going to be tough. I had the integrated amp version of your receiver as my first stereo It lasted through high school, college and well into the end of the 70s. I have a soft spot in my heart for those old Laffayettes. Another choice would be to just saw across the shaft and then use a screwdriver to turn the shaft. You will have a rough time selling is as is. Can you use it in the garage or as a speaker tester or some other utility type use?
 
boy that smells like really old trio...like late 60's, I have a couple old TKs with blowed up transformers I might be able to match up for looks if you have a 'before' picture
 
boy those match perfectly the LR1500TA I have in the store ;-)

I had done a 200 and sold it 3 years ago, no wonder it was so familiar. I wont be to the storage bin to next week so I will compare pics and see
