Large Advents on their sides?

I'm setting up my garage system (finally!) and considering putting my NLA's on the their sides on the shelves...only way they will fit. Has anyone tried NLA's on their side? and which way should I position them? woofers inward or tweeters inward?

Many "bookshelf" speakers are used on there sides. Tweets inside is the normally accepted way, but see what sounds best.

Been running mine on there side for years . Placing a speaker up off the floor really helps IMHO .
