Lascalas!

BULLWINKLE

Super Member
picked up some Klipsch Lascalas and Heresy ll's this weekend. Paid $750 for all. Probably not great but a good price. Listening to the Heresy's now, still have the Lascalas in the back of the Jeep. They sound pretty damn good. Better than the heresy l's IMO. I need to stop and quit buying. But, these really looked great and they were whispering my name!! It's a sickness. :D

The LaScalas are in the jeep??? Bring those bad boys in and fire em up.
750 aint a bad deal at all for Scalas and Heresys...Got any pics for us to see?

I'll try to post a pic. Always have trouble with the size and shrinking them down. But with my crappy back I need some help with unloading and placement. But, I will get it done!!

I'd gladly trade you my lightweight Mach-One's for those big heavy old LaScalas. I won't even ask for any travel money :smoke:

I wouldn't want to put you out. It might stress ya! :D I unloaded them from the jeep and put em in the great room. Sound great. Cant wait to hook em up to my vintage system/vinyl.

Tried to post a pic and my file is too large. Any suggestions?

Yes right click on the picture on your computer and select (edit) (should bring the pic up in paint)
Then select (image) scroll down to (strech/skew) then where it says horizontal and vertical change
the % to less then 100 evenly on each (maybe 50), it will shrink the pic then you can look at the
size by now choosing (image) then (attributes) it will show you the size, keep doing the above until
the pic is under 900 pixels for both width and height. Save the pic then upload it, your done. :D

If you have XP, a must-have add-on is the Image Resizer Powertoy from Microsoft:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

Click the link for Image Resizer, and follow the installation instructions. It adds a "Resize Images..." entry to the right-click contextual menu, makes shrinking to 640x480 compressed jpegs with small filesizes a quick'n'dirty snap! I have Photoshop and Qimage, but for quickie postings this powertoy is the dog's bollocks.

Get smaller speakers. Really good grab. Sell the Heresys for the going price of about $450 and the LaScalas are not more expensive than a double pair of Advents. Heck of a deal!
