Leak 2100 - pcb question

Who likes a puzzle?
Have just inherited a beautiful Leak 2100 integrated amplifier.
In excellent condition, it appears to function really well.
Great, but..
Looking at the pcb I see this (deliberate?) gouge into one of the traces, circled in red mark up.
Can anyone tell me what effect this likely has?
Would be tempted to reconnect this trace but given that the amp is working fine I wouldn’t want to cause a problem…

No problem! The green protective layer just looks to be scraped but the copper trace under it looks to be intact. Now if the copper were gouged enough to create a break then there might be problems. Of course an ohm meter will tell you for sure.
