Leak Point One Has No Phono Help Please

Hi Guys and Gals, I had my Leak Stereo 20 all recapped with Orange Drops etc and sounding amazing through my Point One Pre-amp set on Extra , source a CD with a pair of Tannoy 15 Reds, but not sure why when changing the selector on the Point one there's no change in the source , I'm not hearing phono with a MC Turntable , am I missing something?
The Point One is connected through that eight pin brown cable that I turn on and off the 20 Amp with the Point One but no there other audio cables are being used.
The tube is lite, at least I think the one responsible for the phono stage, if there's something I'm missing I'd appreciate the expertise, looks kinda simple inside the unit.

The phono input is the one labeled "pickup". Is that the one you're using? There's an input labeled "mic" - are you using that instead? Sorry if I'm asking daft questions.
An mc cartridge won't work properly into the phonostage because it's mm only.

To supplement the above, to use an MC cart, you will need to put a step up transformer between the cart and the preamp Pickup input. That is unless the the Pickup input is designed for a ceramic cart. In that case, you will need an external phono preamp, plugged into the Extra input.

Thanks everyone for their input. We'll I got the pre-amp to output the turntable, by kinda riding the switch in between the pick up and extra on the selector switch.
The output is low, and the output pot on the rear I've got cranked, so to get it to a decent listening level I was at 3 oclock on the volume dial which is well above where I run the Extra input when running streaming Tidal or a cd etc.
Another thing I'm noticing is the dial pots for the Bass,Treble and Balance has no influence, not sure what's going on here.
Any suggestions would be welcome.

Did it work ok before recapping? Has the preamp been recapped, or just the power amp recapped?

And did the pickup input on the preamp work before?

I had tried it before but wasn't able to get audio thru it from Phono,, but it appears it was just the positioning on the selector was not making good connection.
Wondering if I changed the tube responsible for the phono if I could get the output higher?

It's quite possible that the phono section isn't working properly, but it's also possible the switch is dodgy. I've seen switches where the shaft has become worn and isn't turning the switch wafers correctly. The switch is a fairly simple mechanical device and a visual inspection might reveal the problem. It's also possible that the switch contacts are dirty or oxidised and some cleaner/lubricant will cure the problem.
If you're using a LOMC cartridge you will still need some kind of step-up device between the turntable and phono input to get a decent listening level with a good signal-to-noise ratio.
