LED vu meter

About 20 years ago there was a company that made a vu meter intended primarily for the pro sound market. I think it had something like 20 LEDs. Two of them could be mounted in 1 rack space. Seems like the mfr was something like audio technica. Does anyone remember? I'd like to get another one.

Would you be thinking of the Symetrix SX-205? Always wanted that. I've got the 202 mic preamp from that series. They were a pretty heavy name in broadcast gear.

Check the prosound section at PartsExpress, too. Might be some cheapies there.
You can also get a little display kit (just a board and parts) from Velleman... P/E probably has those, too.
 
That's the one I was going to point out as well. It's about as long a string and as much resolution as I've seen in a LED bargraph VU meter.

But for being all green, it has a very cool VU feature.
 
Thanks for the comments, but none of these are the one I'm looking for. The one I want is a in a small cabinet, and two of them can be fitted side by side to fit in one rack space. they haven't been made in 20 years or so.
 
But it's not the Symetrix? That's from 20 years ago and it's a half-rack format with an accessory bracket or something to mount two side by side.

Sometimes the well-intentioned AK community misses the mark with their over enthusiasm to help. I believe what you are seeking is the Audio Technology 510M metering system. Although, the 20-year ago statement threw me at first. Audio Technology was on the scene 30 years ago, and gone from the face of the Earth 20 years ago. They had two versions of this meter, first one was with all red LEDs, then followed by green-yellow-red LEDs. There were three different rack mount fronts available (all sold separately). One with just a single meter mounted horizontally in the center in 1U space, one with two meters mounted horizontally side-by-side in 1U space, and a third that had 10 meters mounted vertically in 4U space.

That's it. I was thinking Audio Technica, but you're right, it's Audio Technology. Now where can I find them?
