I have ordered from Music Direct, Soundstage Direct and Mofi before.

I am already a Prime member. The www.ledzeppelin.com website takes you direct to Amazon. I always look at the third party and have used some, except I am an impatient person and some third parties do not ship out as fast as Amazon. Amazon usually ships within hours. Also, if a package does not arrive on time they have a policy to extend your membership for another month at no charge. A lot of people may think they are evil, but they go pretty far to provide good service.

It seems many of the big Vinyl producers push out dates.... :-( Acoustic Sounds in particular

That box set of Stevie Ray Vaughn keeps going out further and further as does the "Kind of Blue" in the box set 45 RPM on 180G.

Of the $135 variety versions. Rolling Stone says the first 30,000 will be numbered. So its open ended.

I think there is still room for good original collectible versions with all the variations they have in pressings.

The average album buyer will probably go for the 180g re-issues.
 
I'm just interested in good versions of the LP's, but - it doesn't look like the individual albums include downloads. Disappointing in this day and age...
 
I may get the single album re-issues. Originals are hard to find in good condition without being overpriced.
 
Oh wow this is great news for me. I was on discogs the other day trying to find a suitable copy of zeppelin 1,2 or 3, and anything that was in above mediocre condition was hundreds of dollars. I'm sure this reissue will help to bring that price down a bit haha. Super excited for the reissues. Likely buying all of them
 
Well, there goes the resale market. LZ 1 first press in NM condition is fetching $75+. 2nd pressing NM is fetching $50 plus. With these new releases you'll see those numbers drop by 50%. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. If you sold a first press recently for $100 plus you hit a home run. Looking forward to seeing these remasters released. I just hope they are direct from the original analog tapes. We'll finally have mint additions on the street again. Too bad half of them will be warped out of the gate.:no:
 
jimmy page was on last nights tonight show, I must say those box sets look pretty cool, fallon was to busy playing with them to do a proper interview. you can access it off the nbc website.

Just like I predicted, LZ week coming up soon. Jimmy did that with the Pink Floyd remasters.

Yeah he was too busy gushing over Jimmy Page, and then thumbing through the box sets to do a decent interview.
