Left Speaker Hum

HELP!! Please.
Should I have continuity on the cartridge from left positive to left negative?
It is only a blip compared to the positive left to positive left. There's no "bleed" on the right connections. Is this a difficult fix? What should I do?
This is on a Trans Audio 1800 from the 70's.

Rewrite your question so your meaning is clearer. I have no idea what "blip" means, and "bleed" isn't exactly crystal clear either.

If you can test continuity, then I guess you have continuity tester. Is it part of a multi-function meter? Can you also test Ohms? If so, test both sides and give us the exact numbers.

We can't answer your question "Is this a difficult fix?" because we have no idea what's wrong. You don't even tell us what cartridge it is.

I have a Audio Technica AT110E Cartridge the readings I get are
Blue to Blue is 0
Blue to White is 5
White to White is 0
White to Blue is 5

Green to Green is 0
Green to Red is 5
Red to Red is 0
Red to Green is 5

The only hum I have is in the left speaker when playing records. It almost sound like it's over modulating.

I would guess your cartridge is OK and you can stop worrying about it. The hum is likely caused by the wiring.
