Lenco Turntable, Model L-236

I am looking at an old Lenco turntable, MODEL #L-236, and need some advice before I proceed with the purchase. :scratch2:

Hey Bongo1976,

This is a late 70's belt-driven Lenco ('77 thru '79). It is semi-auto with a stamped light-weight platter and a tonearm with a so-so reputation. The belt: a 13.3" medium flat, is easily replaceable at $10 to $15. This is NOT the heavy duty idler driven Lenco which as has been making a comeback splash over the last couple of years. Those earlier Lencos sell in the $150 to $225 range. The Lenco L-236 should be in the $20 to $50 range.
