Hi all.
I recently repaired this old record player i found in the basement of my parents. It's a "Sagittario 2 / II" from LESA, an old Italian company, which doesn't exists anymore as far as I know.
The record player was one of the first portable record players in Italy and it's from the 60s. The only thing that was missing was the needle. I bought a needle (it was oddly only 10€, I thought they cost more, but it's not made out of plastic) from amazon, based on a code that is written on the arm of the record player. I was even unsure if it was the right needle, but when i installed it, it worked, so I figured I was lucky. Does anyone know this record player better and can help me about the quality of this machine? (Or the company in general, if they were known to make good record players). I hope i am not destroying my records...
