Just for fun.

The box speakers look like vintage AR, not much mystery there. The mystery is the pair on the right. I'm thinking 1968 or so.

These are from an upcoming sale; at the right time I will link it in Dollars and Sense.

The seller was a serious electronics hobbyist, but those speakers do not look homemade.

Maybe some kind of omnidirectional jobbie, that circle on top makes a down-pointing cone and the driver is inside facing up. I don't recognize the speaker though.

Come to think of it, that square cover looks like an desktop in-basket. :rflmao:

Edit: Wait, those are tiny! I didn't look at the surrounding objects for perspective. The look about 6" tall. WTH are they?
 
I agree about the omnidirectional aspect. I found a picture of the Harman Kardon Citation 13, but it was not a match. They don't look like modern desktop computer speakers. I'll see whether the seller has a clue.
 
I've never seen anything quite like em. They could be cheap plastic from the 70s or 80s, so bad we've never seen them before. Or, rare and kinda cool?
 
I thought might be a Zenith Allegro and simply upside-down, but no. No word yet from the sellers.
 
My first impression was Sonab, they make a lot of similar type speakers, but I haven't seen that one....

Ad says vintage Sanyo speakers.

About 3 blocks from my mothers house, but I need speakers like another hole in my head ! lol
 
I remember the TV ad for these:

The Madison Ave guys didn't knock that one out of the park, but they weren't wrong.
